Here you will learn how to get the best quality prints from your Makerbot Replicator 3D printer, or any Reprap 3D printer. If you are printing with ABS filament, it is important to control the temperature and air flow during the print. PLA is more forgiving than ABS, but most Makerbot operators will start with ABS. It is also important to measure the actual diameter of your filament, and enter that into your slicing program. ReplicatorG comes with a default plastic size of 1.82, which you will want to adjust to your measurements.
