- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Promo!
Have you seen the new promo for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D?? If you haven't, thank goodness you're here, because you need this update. It has been an exciting couple of days for Marvel fans, starting with ABC announcing that they were picking up the Agents of SHIELD pilot, which was awesome news. But, then there was even better news when rumors were circulating that we would get a sneak peak at footage from the show during the season finale of ABC's "Once Upon A Time." And ABC definitely delivered in a big way, and we saw our first 30 second trailer for the new show. Now, in the promo we see several clips that include some of our favorite Marvel superheros, including Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America. We are not sure if any of these guys will in fact end up on the show or not, which a lot of fans were curious about, but it definitely seems like it's a possibility. And, we see a title card that says quote "the saga that began in Marvel's The Avengers ...continues on television" which means this is going to fit perfectly into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and may be the thing that tides audiences over in between Marvel films. Everyone is extremely intersted in Agent Phil Coulson's character in this, because you remember he dies in The Avengers, so we all now want to know how he made it, in one piece, onto the television crossover that will appear on ABC this fall. Joss Whedon co-wrote and directed the pilot episode, and is currently attached to executive produce. And the cast will include Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Ming-Na Wen. We also heard that there may be room in the story line for Agent Maria Hill, which may mean Colbie Smulders will be back as well, as long as her shooting schedule for "How I Met Your Mother" doesn't conflict of course. So, who is excited about this? Im sure there are many show of hands, but is anyone out there not convinced that this television move may not be a smart one for Marvel? Do you think they can keep up the production quality, and keep a solid script going? Make sure you leave us your thoughts below, and if you haven't seen the teaser yet, take a look at that in the description. Thank you guys for watching, until next time, Im Erin White.
