Captain America has a new girlfriend, and she's a brown eyed, blonde haired, Canadian beauty. Actress Emily VanCamp has accepted the role of Sharon Carter in Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Sharon is the niece of Peggy Carter, who was the former love interest in the first movie, which definitely means Steve Rogers is keeping it in the family. Hardcore movie fans may not know VanCamp too well just yet, because she's more of a TV star and most known for her work on ABC's Revenge, as well as the WB's Everwood and Brothers & Sisters. She joins Chris Evans, Toby Jones, and Sebastian Stan who are all returning to the sequel, as well as a few new players which will include Anthony Mackie as Falcon and Frank Grillo as the villainous Crossbones. Also confirmed to be joining Captain America are our favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. characters played by Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, and Cobie Smulders. So far, we have no official start date for production of the movie, but Captain America: The Winter Soldier is set to hit theaters in April of 2014. Marvel fans, I know you all are tough critics out there so I have to ask, will you be giving Van Camp the Marvel stamp of approval?
