TBS

After extensive test flight with the new TBS Crossfire I am finally giving up on TBS. I, along with others, have had way to many bad issues and really poor performance to say the least. I feel as if this was rushed to market without proper testing by TBS especially when using 1.2, 1.3 gHz vTx. Please research the issues before purchasing.

Latest update as of 7/14/16: I returned my TBS Crossfire for a refund. Even with the 915mHz (USA) notch filter I was experiencing way to much interference with my 1.2/3 vTx and Crossfire combo. I believe the Crossfire was designed to be used primarily in Europe since they use 2.4gHz vTx. It's not a good match for the 1.2/3 vTx. This is based on my extensive use and experience with the TBS Crossfire.
Update as of 2/2/16: Even with the latest firmware upgrades, I've been having some issues with the TBS Crossfire not functioning as advertised. After extensive trouble shooting I believe with confidence it comes down to a defective 8ch diversity Rx. I just returned the entire unit to TBS Avionics to Hong Kong China. It is unbelievable that there wasn't any option to deliver the defective product to a USA address costing me $34 in International shipping. Please stay tuned for further information. Thank you.
As of 3/21/16: I received my replacement 2 weeks ago and tested it with no issues. I flew out 5Km using 100mw and turned back due to a lot of vTx issue. The Crossfire and 1.2/3 is not a friendly match.
On 4/4/16 I deliberately flew 2 miles thru a noisy RF environment where my L9R would always fail and the Crossfire did well hovering in and out of 100mw with minimal vTx issues.
