Ant Man and Doctor Strange to Lead Marvel's Phase 3

Marvel's Phase Two is about to start with the release of 'Iron Man 3' on May 3, followed by sequels for 'Thor', 'Captain America' and 'The Avengers' and now we have some new information about Phase 3, 'Ant-Man' and 'Doctor Strange'!
I think I just heard the sound of Marvel fans scream in excitement. As we all know by now, Marvel Studio is constantly looking into the future to see how to further expand the Marvel Universe. So the fact that it already has its sights on Phase 3 shouldn't surprise you, but maybe the up-coming lineup will.
Kevin Feige sat down with MTV and talked about the Phase 3 lineup, "Ant-Man is definitely part of Phase Three. Like Iron Man 3, it's certainly set in the Marvel universe, but it's also through the lens of Edgar Wright -- which is the only reason we're making the movie... It's very much an Ant-Man origin movie from the perspective of Edgar Wright and his co-writer Joe Cornish. It will of course be firmly planted in the MCU, but a different corner that we've not seen before."
Director Edgar Wright has expressed interest in Marvel's Ant-Man since 2004, when the two first met at Comic Con. Wright has directed 'Shaun of the Dead', 'Hot Fuzz' and 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World' so for those of you who aren't interested in the character of Ant-Man, the movie will definitely create a lot of buzz with Wright's involvement.
So after 'Ant Man', what else can we expect from Phase 3? While he says that Ant-Man is the only movie officially announced, fans won't have to look far for the next list of character they're beginning to develop.
Feige said, "Doctor Strange, which I've been talking about for years, is definitely one of them. He's a great, original character, and he checks the box off this criteria that I have: he's totally different from anything else we have, just like Guardians of the Galaxy. He's totally different from anything we've done before, as is Ant-Man which keeps us excited."
Looks like Marvel is gearing up for an adventurous Phase 3. Let's quickly recap: Phase 2 starts with Iron Man 3 on May 3, 'Thor: The Dark World' on November 8, 'Captain America: The Winter Solider' comes out on April 4th 2014, August 4, 2014 is the release of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and the second phase will end with 'The Avengers 2' on May 1, 2015.
So we will be introduced to Ant-Man and Doctor Strange with Marvel's Phase 3, so I think it's pretty safe to assume we will be seeing a bunch of new characters in the up-coming Marvel films.
