This is my first flight of the QQ190 Prototype- now in production and available at QQ190Falcon.com
This frame is a rocket. This is just a DVR recording from my Goggles, but you get the idea... It was so cold on this day!
We wanted to design a balanced and light frame that is minimal in nature, crashworthy, simple, but that overcomes shortcomings that this style of frame has such as HD camera mounting options, camera tilt, ESC mounting locations, landing gear, and durability. The result is the QQ190 Falcon Racing Quadcopter frame. We haven't been able to break it yet.... After crashing into concrete, battery fires, destroyed cameras, crashes from hundreds of feet in the air,---This frame just holds up. It's by far the funnest frame that we have made yet and it is well suited for intermediate to advanced pilots looking for the ultimate in weight distribution and form.
This Quad's setup:
4S Tattu Batteries
Dal 5045 props
Experimental ESCs
Cobra 2204 2300KV motors
Hawkeye Vtx
Run cam Sky vtx
Afromini Amaze32
Frsky X4r-SB rx
Frsky Taranis X9D Transmitter
5-in-1 PDB
There is some multipathing going on in the video due to my proximity to the buildings around our warehouse which explains the poor quality video.
This is a fast quad.. And it is fun to fly because it's weight is right down the middle. I was flying with motor stop enabled, and could let off of the throttle and stop the props mid air and the quad would stay upright. Pretty cool effect to get some extra float.
I promise that our videos will get better, but I wanted to share the very first flight of our prototype- now in production and available at qq190falcon.com and QuadQuestions.com
