Losi NightCrawler Metal gears & why to go Brushless
The Losi NightCrawler isn't known for it's speed. In fact, it is that slow that it's speed is measured in calenderdays. Not km/h or Miles p/h.
Brushless is one way to solve that. Since i installed a Hobbywing quicrun 17,5T sensored brushless setup in it (Thanks A'tees! ) on 3S, it has twice the wheelspeed as when i ran it stock 35T brushed on 2S.
However, keep in mind that the gears plastic!
So i ordered some metal ones and in this video i will show you how it's done and give some pointers.
