Paul Giamatti Dons Rhino Suit...Sort Of

We have the first look of Paul Giamatti suiting up as The Rhino in new pics coming from the set of The Amazing Spiderman 2. Well, maybe you wouldn't consider this a "look" just yet, but it might be the closest thing we get to a Rhino suit until Spiderman 2 hits theaters on May 2nd 2014. So, lets take a closer look at this!! Here Giamatti's is still wearing his clothes from the previous set pics we've seen before, which makes us think that these shots are coming from the same scene we've talked about here on the show. But this time, his lower body is strapped into a tall metal contraption with wheels, which is painted grey (a very Rhino inspired color I'm sure) and he's being pushed around by a couple of guys who are also in full on grey garb. These new shots are pretty interesting, to say the least, and at first glance I wasn't quite sure what in the world I was looking at. We were obviously expecting that The Rhino was going to be full CGI, but we thought we were going to see him in a CG body suit of sorts, kinda like what we've seen the cast of the turtles wearing in the set pics of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Or, we at least we thought we would see more than just a headpiece. So, this look came as a bit of a surprise to us here at ClevverMovies, and had us scratching our heads at what this is actually going to look like on the big screen. We also thought these shots may, in fact, just be of Giamatti's close ups, which would explain why he wouldn't need to wear an entire suit to shoot this. So perhaps we will, in fact, see more Rhino suit like set pics to come. Regardless, we are pretty confident that Marc Webb kinda knows what he's doing by now, and with all of the crazy things that can be done with CG, we are still anticipating an amazing Rhino in The Amazing Spiderman 2!
