This is 9th video in this video series and it's about hooking and installing a receiver and binding the FrSky system.
Here is part list of all the parts that I am going to use until the end of this build series:
The easiest way to hook this up properly is to set you mixes on the 9XR as you wish (or leave them as they already are) and connect the leads to the receiver according to this. Alternatively, you could check the KK2.0 "receiver test" and then switch channels that you've connected wrong. Basically, trial and error method. :) Or, you can even connect everything at random and then change the mixes on the transmitter.
WARNING:
1. Never power you module, or any peace of equipment that uses antennas for that matter (video transmitters/receiver etc.), without antenna attached to it. Along side it's primary function which is signal transmitting/receiving, antenna serves as a resistor. Without antenna on power will start heating internal components (because there is no antenna to dissipate it) and they will fail eventually. So again, never turn your radio equipment on without the antennas on them!
You need:
Turnigy 9XR transmitter:
3S battery for the 9XR:
FrSky 2.4 GHz module and receiver combo:
10 cm male to male servo leads:
Enjoy RC as much as I do! :)
