Who wants to see Mace Windu in the new Star Wars movies? Well, I don't think any of you want to see that happen more than Samuel L. Jackson himself.
Despite his busy schedule and major role in another blockbuster franchise, Jackson has already begun lobbying for a role in the new Star Wars trilogy. In fact, he'd love to reprise his role so much that he has already thought of an interesting idea as to how he can be incorporated into the movie.
Jackson told E! Online, "I'm not surprised but totally geeked by the idea of there being more Star Wars. It's like, okay, Obi-Wan was dead when episode four started, so maybe everyone thinks I'm dead and we'll find out what happened to Mace Windu. I can come back as one-armed or a one-handed Jedi that's still around that didn't actually die. I could do that or be a ghost hologram. I don't care. I just want to stay associated with the franchise."
I think he meant to say Episode 5 not 4, but whatever, it's Samuel L. Jackson, he can say what he wants. What makes Jackson so interested in returning to the galaxy far, far away? He said, "I always loved the idea of it, that there's this whole civilization out there somewhere else that's just as much fun and different and diverse and wild as we are."
First Ewan McGregor, now Samuel L. Jackson? We might see the whole crew back together in 2015! I think Disney needs to bring back Jedi Master Mace Windu and his purple light saber but how about you?
