Fatshark HD3 Core power button mod, fan mod and FuriousFPV True-D - QUICK GUIDE

Brand new goggles, brand new goodies and two well-known mods: a power button and an internally powered fan.
The Fatshark HD3 Core are the same as the Dominator HD3 goggles, so these mods apply to both.
The VRx module is the FuriousFPV True-D. No introduction is necessary here: it is a very good, tried and tested module, comes with a cover and is ready to clip securely onto the casing of the Fatshark HD3 goggles.
The patch antenna is a Tripple Feed Patch-1 Mini from Actuna. A 50ohm termination is advised for the unused SMA connector of the Tripple Feed patch antennas, but I didn't have one with a female SMA connector to use. The Pagoda a the short one from Realacc, chosen mostly for its white color - the longer version is probably a better option, so that it stands higher than the top of your head.
Remember: If you are planning on using both 2S and 3S batteries, you should add a 5V BEC on the fan cables. The fan is rated for max 12V DC and will fail when operating from a 3S battery. Also a resistor for the LED of the pushbutton may be required in this case.
These mods apply to most Fatshark (and other) FPV goggles. Just pay attention to operating voltages and polarities ;)
