The prologue officially hits the big screen!!! Hey everyone thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier with the details on the big dark knight rises prologue we have all been anxiously awaiting!

Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan showed off about eight minutes of footage from The Dark Knight Rises last night, a preview that will be seen later this month in select IMAX theatres before Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol. Now I must warn you, if you want to know nothing about the prologue, you should probably stop watching!

As we suspected, the majority of the preview introduced audiences to Bane, the Batman movie's major villain, played by Tom Hardy. And without making this a total spoiler, I will say, the footage audiences got a peak of pretty much revolved around a heist involving a plane.

So the over all feel, well, the sequence was grand in scope, expanding the Batman world outside of Gotham City, and it was filled with a lot of tension and dread. The impact of those 8 mins was strong, not only from what was going on, on screen but from the score, which was reminiscent of Nolan's The Dark Knight and Inception.

SO what did everyone think of this intense 8 mins? Well, the crownd was mostly made up of press and movie execs...all of which seemed to leave quite impressed with the sneak peak of whats to come in the dark knight rises when it hits the big screen July 20th.
