HBO GO COMING TO PS4, PS3 (Escapist News Now)
Yesterday at an event in New York, the CEO of HBO announced their partnership with PlayStation to bring the popular app to Sony's platform. It will be arriving on PS3 first, with a PS4 version to follow. There was no mention of if or when a Vita app would be coming.
You do still need to have a cable subscription to the premium service in order to use HBO Go, but if you are already subscribed you have unlimited, on-demand access to HBO original series, comedy specials, documentaries, and of course movies.
No word yet on just when the app will come to PS3.
