Director Marc Webb just tweeted who the new Harry Osborn will be and we've got the breaking news.
Fan debates as to who will play Harry Osborn in the 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' can end now as Webb just tweeted that Dane DeHaan, from 'In Treatment' and 'Chronicle' will play the new best friend/baddie.
We reported earlier that Dehaan was a frontrunner for Harry Osborn until we got word that Sony and Webb wanted prioritize a chiseled physique and good looks as the top criteria for the new Harry Osborn, which unfortunately meant that DeHaan would take a backseat to those who were more James Franco-esque. Well, I guess they decided to go with acting skills over of physique because DeHaan was just crowned the new Harry Osborn.
DeHaan will join Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley and Jamie Foxx when the 'Amazing Spiderman 2' hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
