Fatshark HD3 Core unboxing: FPV goggle barebones - BEST FOR LESS

Video Channel
Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?
The new Fatshark HD3 Core may not bring something new to the FPV goggle "game", but they come in a more basic and cost effective kit.
Compared to the Fatshark Dominator HD3, the HD3 Core goggles do not include any A/V cables, adapters or even a battery.
What you get is what you need: The goggles, a battery case for 18650 batteries (the non-USB version) and the Fatshark reputation / build quality. Oh… and a re-designed faceplate which now directs the air only to the lenses and not to your eyes.
Other than that, the HD3 goggles remain the same and will replace the Dominator HD3 version, as soon as stock runs out. Even the part number remains the same, just with a small addition at the end (FSV1076-02).

The field of view is 42 degrees, the interpupilary distance can be adjusted from 59mm to 69mm, the displays are SVGA with 800x600 resolution, it suppots HDMI 720p input for your simulators and can operate with 2S or 3S (the fan looks to be the same and can only handle up to 12V DC though). The microSD card slot of the built-in DVR is still there, between your eyes, and there is no provision for cable routing of a LaForge video receiver system without opening the goggle casing or ruining their appearance.
These goggles are not mine, they belong to a friend (Tony FPV). I will be doing some mods for him to enjoy and for you to watch.
Thanks to Anthony (Tony FPV) for lending me his brand new HD3 Core goggles and to Lykourgos from HobbyTrip.gr for the fast delivery ;)
