David Karp is the founder and CEO of Tumblr. After dropping out of high school at age 15, Karp interned at Frederator Studios which led to a gig leading product at UrbanBaby. Karp started his own development agency, Davidville, in 2005 and launched Tumblr in 2007, which was acquired by Yahoo in 2013. He is a board member of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and lives in New York City.
