GameSpot's list of finalists calls out the top 10 games of 2008 on all platforms. This year's deliberations weren't easy; there were so many fantastic games of exceptional quality that simply cutting down a list to 10 finalists was a difficult task on its own. Making the top 10 list is definitely an accomplishment in itself, a nod to 10 games that stood out among a banner year's worth of outstanding games of all genres and on all platforms. And yes, determining the single winner for Game of the Year 2008 was even tougher. But determine a winner we did. For more, see:
