Next year’s Captain America 3 is already set to star several of our favorite Marvel heroes, but a new report suggests there could be even more involved in the superhero civil war than we thought. Before we get started, though what we’re about to cover should be considered rumors at this point, we could be getting into spoiler territory, so proceed with caution. Okay, so far we know for sure that next summer’s Captain America: Civil War will focus on Avengers Captain America and Iron Man having a major difference of opinion that will force the other heroes to take sides. In addition to Cap and Stark, we know that Black Widow, Hawkeye and Falcon will appear along with the introduction of Chadwick Boseman as “Black Panther”, but according to website Bleeding Cool, a lot more heroes could be thrown into the mix. In addition to the much assumed introduction of Spider-Man, who the site claims will be 14 years-old in the film, sources close to Marvel also suggest that Hulk, Thor, War Machine, Scarlet Witch and even Wasp will show up in Civil War to choose sides. Though Wasp has yet to be introduced into the MCU, Evangeline Lilly, who plays the daughter of original Ant-Man and Wasp “Hank Pym” and “Janet van Dyne” in this summer’s Ant-Man, is expected to take up the moniker in the film. Speaking of Ant-Man, Bleeding Cool’s sources also suggest that Anthony Mackie will reprise his role of “Falcon” in the film, though it’s not clear how his character could potentially fit. If true, our best guess would be some sort of end-credit scene. Again, all of this should be taken as rumor at this point, but which characters would you like see show up in next summer’s Captain America: Civil War and do you like the idea of so many characters being featured or could they potentially end up overshadowing Cap in his own movie?
