« Cyril Hahn revisits the mythic Destiny's Child's song from a melancholic point of view. The intensity gradually rises as the different elements come in. The first 2 minutes and a half give us the opportunity to really appreciate and dig the smooth ambiance. If the instrumental is quite repetitive, the use of the vocals is simply clever and counter-balances. The repeated first line of the original chorus keeps us interested and leaves us pending for the rest.
When finally the drop arrives, the different layers of vocals interwine to create the intricacy missing in the instrumental. In this way the track doesn't sound busy but well-balanced and well-arranged. »
