7 Actors Who Could Play Marvel's Spider-Man

Now that Spider-Man is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe a new web-slinger must be cast, but which actor has what it takes to stand out among a world full of superheroes? Along with official word that Marvel and Sony have reached a deal to add the world’s most lucrative comic book hero to Marvel’s ever expanding legion of superheroes comes the realization that current “Peter Parker” Andrew Garfield will have to turn in his web-shooters and a new actor will be cast. In the past, casting Spider-Man was a little easier considering he would be the only hero on screen, but considering now he’ll have to compete for attention against powerhouses like Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk, among others, casting will be more important than ever. So with that, here’s our list of 7 actors we think have the gravitas to play the next Spider-Man. Keep in mind, from previous leaked Sony emails, the character will most likely be a high school student when he’s introduced into the MCU, so we’ll be looking at actors in their teens and 20’s.
