7 Hilarious Achievements You Want on Your Gamercard
I collect Xbox achievements mostly for the quantifable bragging rights of gamerscore and the irrefutable proof that yes, I did waste many hours of the only life I will ever have collecting feathers for Ezio's mum. Sometimes, though, developers go the extra mile and devise achievments with such excellent names or premises that they must be attained purely for the lulz.
Take the Left 4 Dead 2 achievement called "Bridge Over Trebled Slaughter", for which you have to make it across the zombie-packed bridge at the end of the game in under three minutes. This is a name so perfect I'm not convinced Valve didn't start with the pun and design the entire Left 4 Dead 2 finale backwards from that point. If so: totally worth it.
