The battle between Marvel and DC has been raging for decades, but will we finally see the ultimate showdown between these two comic book titans in 2016? You may recall at the beginning of the year that Warner Brothers announced it was pushing the release date for its Batman/Superman team up movie from next summer to May 6th, 2016. Well, months before that, Marvel set THAT exact date for an as yet announced film. We recently told you that Marvel co-president Kevin Feige stated that they had no intentions of moving off that date and were planning to announce the film that will potentially be going head-to-head against DC's biggest characters soon. Well, if a recent report from The Hollywood Reporter is true, that Marvel film could be Captain America 3. We know for a fact that a third Captain America is happening and The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo have been tapped to once again helm the project. The New York Post's Reed Tucker tweeted that the Russo's told him production would begin sometime next year which would definitely put it on track for a 2016 release.
