Chithiram pesuthadi fame director Mysskin is back with a gripping story anjathey which is about two friends, Sathyanathan (Narain) and Krupa karan (Ajmal) are sons of police constables living in the same colony; they remain close friends despite having divergent attitudes. Krupa aims to become a sub inspector while on the contrary Sathya, a street rowdy, is always humiliated by his father (M.S. Bhaskar) because of his irresponsible attitude.
Narain, provoked by humiliation, decides to take a drastic step and competes for SI selection. This is the turning point in the story when the aims pf two people's lives get swapped
The negative plot in this story is a criminal gang led by Velu (Pandiyarajan) and Daya (Prasanna). The constant effort to catch these dreaded criminals end in vain and in between this toil the emotional story of the two friends.
Mysskin has executed a brilliant script on the screen which has a great after effects, from the initial scene to the climax, the scenes are gripping and enthralling that will keep the audience glued to the sequences.
M.S. Bhaskar, Livingston, Ponvannan have done well in their respective parts. Pandiyarajan as a baddie is another surprise in the tale. The actor excels in depicting the role. Sunder C. Babu's tunes are good with two songs His BGM for the film is apt.
Excellent cinematography handled by Magesh Muthuswamy and sleek editing by Sandagopan Ramesh. Stunt choreography by 'Action' Prakash' is one of the high points of the movie.
A well made film that will lead the box office.
