After a string of consistent, quality EP’s, Filterheadz make their return to Toolroom Trax in 2017 with their debut artist album ‘Magnetic’.
Brothers Bert & Maarten Wilmaers aka Filterheadz, have been longstanding contributors to the Techno scene with releases on Toolroom, 1605, Intec, Stereo, Bedrock and Rhythm Distrikt, gaining support from respected DJ’s; Carl Cox, Marco Bailey, Green Velvet, UMEK, Hollen, Chus & Ceballos and many more.
‘Magnetic’ encapsulates that signature Filterheadz sound providing plenty of Techno grooves, atmospheric synths, locomotive drum sequencing and hooky vocals. Offering 18 club ready weapons and a full-length DJ mix to complete the package, ‘Magnetic’ ventures into the darker side of Tech House and Techno. Highlights include ‘Ricochet’ with it’s pumping b-line, the instantly catchy ‘Kaleidoscope’ with it’s atmospheric builds, chunky Techno roller ’Paper City’ and ‘Raised By Wolves’ with those proggy techno vibes.
