Lisa Gade reviews the Lenovo ThinkPad X240 business Ultrabook. The latest X series 12.5" laptop from Lenovo might not be super-thin but it packs a lot of ports and expansion including 2 USB 3.0 ports, a mini DisplayPort, VGA, RJ45 Ethernet, a full size SD card slot, Express Card 34mm, Smart card reader and optional 3G micro SIM card slot. It runs on Intel Haswell 4th gen Ultrabook CPUs, from the Core i3-4010U to the Core i7-4600U with Intel HD 4400 graphics and your choice of conventional HDD or SSD drive. It features Lenovo's Power Bridge technology with a 3 cell internal battery and removable 3 or 6 cell battery for very long runtimes. It's available with a 1366 x 768 or full HD IPS touch screen (no pen option). The 3 lb. laptop starts at $890 and the Core i5 with a 128 gig SSD and 8 gigs of RAM costs around $1,200.
