An announcement for Red Dead Redemption 2 could be here sooner than the 7:10 from Blackwater. Very little is known so far about the rumoured game; here are the eight most pressing questions Red Dead Redemption 2 (proper title TBC) needs to answer. Subscribe for more Red Dead Redemption!
Firstly, will John Marston show up? This new Red Dead is likely to be a prequel, given the fact that there wasn’t really a Wild West at all after Redemption’s setting of 1911, so there’s every chance that he could turn up.
We don’t need to play as a young John Marston, but hearing tales of his exploits with Dutch’s gang from NPCs, or even running into him in his bad old days would be a great moment for fans of Red Dead Redemption, and give us more of an insight into that game’s story as well.
Also, what will the multiplayer be like, and can the multiplayer be like GTA Online but with cowboys, with the entire map open to roam around, horses to ride, people to shoot, and posses to join with our friends.
Thinking about it, what we’ve described is exactly the free-roam multiplayer from Red Dead Redemption, which, thinking about it some more, was essentially a prototype for GTA Online. Huh.
