Tesla Model X Test Drive
At an event in Fremont, California, Tesla CEO Elon Musk disclosed a bunch of specs about the car and announced that the first handful are being delivered to pre-orderers now. The first detail disclosed: the speed. Tesla’s are known for having an unreal amount of zoom when you stomp that gas pedal, and the Model X is no different.
The $132,000 P90D model will do 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. The P90D model with Tesla’s rightly-named “Ludicrous” mode — an option that costs an extra $10k, bringing the price to $142,000 — brings that down to 3.2 seconds. Greg Kumparak take test drives the new Tesla Model X.
