Please note - My maiden was LOS in manual mode, non pilot assist, and is based solely on my personal experience with light winds and a 10,000mah 4s payload. Based on such a short fuselage 960mm/38”compared to an 1880mm/74” wingspan and long wing chord I found the Cloud to initially be very pitch sensitive and this contributed to an unnatural yaw with her massive V-Tail. For long FPV mission eliminating her rudder may be an option. Once trimmed, she does fly and track straight. I found landing her simple since she glides well with little to no throttle. Please make sure to balance her CG properly and I’d recommend a dual rate aileron setup with 30% expo and 70% on her throws.
Whenever there’s a new experimental FPV platform not based on a scale existing aircraft it’s kind of a throw of the dice. Nonetheless she seems to have great potential. Stay tuned & Thanks for watching.
