Vadacurry is a 2014 Tamil Comedy-Thriller film written and directed by debutant Saravana Rajan. Vadacurry songs are composed by newcomers Vivek Shiva and Mervin Solomon. Initially Yuvan Shankar Raja was signed on for the film after Anirudh was unavailable due to date issues. But due to lack of time, newcomers Vivek Shiva and Mervin Solomon were signed on Anirudh's recommendation. Vadacurry stars Jai and Swathi Reddy in lead roles, uniting after Subramaniapuram. The film also stars RJ Balaji and Misha Ghoshal in supporting roles. The film marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood bombshell Sunny Leone, who made a cameo appearance in a song.
Vadacurry is the story of a medical representative Jai, who finds an IPhone unattended on the road and decides to take it. The iPhone gets him into trouble and how Jai comes out of it forms the crux of the story.
