I snuck in another flight with the Skyhunter last night, it was late evening and getting dark, which gave me a change to try out the Swift in relatively low light. It looked almost like daylight in the cam, but the sun had long gone down. It was pretty dark actually, as evidenced by the street lights in town, and note the lights in the shed when I landed. I'm pretty happy with this cam, and do recommend it for anyone looking! lol I have this one set to stay in color mode instead of switching to black and white when it gets dark. I'm sure it would work even better well into the night in black and white mode.
I also tried out a new method of recording my ground footage, I think it looks a little better, let me know what you thing. Basically I'm running the video from my ground station to a Sony DCR-HC40 DV camera, which has an analog in to firewire out mode. I go from the Handycam to PC with firewire, and use Amarec to deinterlace the video on the fly. I record Amarec's output using OBS Studio, which records with h.264 at as high a bitrate and quality as I can handle with the PC. Then later I edit with Sony Vegas as usual. It's a little complicated, but it seems to work well, and gives a better representation of camera quality... ;) .

Here's some affiliate links to the video gear I use from Ready Made R/C:
1.3GHz video transmitters (I use 200, 400, 800, and 1500mW on various planes)
I recommend this receiver to go with them. I use an older Racewood type they used to sell, but these are supposed to be at least as good with the same Comtech tuners in them. Apparently Racewood is no longer in business, so here's what replaced them:
I use this 8dbi Patch Antenna, it has been my go-to antenna for a long time now, for years! lol I've been out more then 10 miles using one of these and the 800mW vtx listed above:
On the transmitter side, the stock dipoles that come with them work pretty good together with that patch, but if you want slightly better performance and less weight/drag, consider these:
