Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City DLC - Slave Knight Gael Boss Fight (Solo)
Slave Knight Gael is a main boss, and the final boss in the Dark Souls 3: Ringed City DLC. You'll face him after the Halflight, Spear of the Church fight. Head up the stairs and touch the egg. The Ringed City will turn to ash, and you walk across the desert to start the boss fight with Gael.
He isn't too difficult, the main thing is he has a lot of health. When you get him to around 60% health he'll go into phase 2 and a cutscene will play. He is kind slower now, but he'll use crossbow attacks and throw boomerang like discs out at you. Easy to avoid, however.
When he is on around 30% health, he'll go into the final phase and just keep attacking you with hard hitting attacks. It's hard to see what is going on beacsue of the soul effects on his sword, and it's hard to determine when to attack because of his relentless combos.
Beating him, will drop his soul and the "Blood of the Dark Soul". You can give the blood to the painter in the painted world (Ashes of Ariandel DLC)
