Francis A. Hanofee Memorial Park is located in Liberty, New York.The park is owned by the Town of Liberty and is located on Sunset Lake Road. The Park was formerly the property of the Dixie Lake Hotel. The land was purchased by the Town of Liberty in the early 1970’s and has been developed over the years into an all in one recreation area. The park consists of a beautiful swimming pool, a 24-acre lake known as Dixie Lake, covered pavilions which are rentable for parties, a playground, picnic areas, hiking trails around the lake, basketball court, baseball field, tennis courts, and a sand
-volleyball court. There are also open areas to fly a kite or enjoy your own recreational activities.
