100'' Huge Twin Boom DIY Rc Plane Re-Maiden Test Flight made by happy flyer DIY Rc FPV Remote Control Hobby Channel
For this test, we removed the rudders and change them into ailerons
During the Test Flight, you definitely see how good of an improvement it is she is finally flying like butter
Differential thrust and rudders were too much in its first flight
this huge plane was all over the place and Very difficult to keep in a straight line for taking off
It's still very difficult and we need to hand toss it but that's because of the new landing gear wheels that are pointing to the outside!
Build Specs Twin Boom DIY Rc Plane
2X A2212 140Kv Brushless Motors
2X 20Amp ESC
3X TG9e 9gram servos
Ranger TX Landing Gear
160cm Long Wing with a 15cm core
twin tail is 75cm long and the nose is 40cm overall length is 1 meter (15cm of the nose is under the wing)
Tail is 50cm long & 10cm Width
The Vertical Stabilizer is 18cm high and 10cm width at the bottom and 5cm at the top
Twin boom plans are coming we while making a short build overview vid very shortly
it's easy to build at home using a lot of cheap product from the dollar store keeping the build fairly cheap spending close to 10 dollars on this great flying homemade Rc plane
we need some extra test flights to put the point on the I but there is nothing I can really complain about
she is performing super good after the last mod just some rate & expo fine tuning and she while be flying like golden it's my best and biggest Rc plane yet
