Joss Whedon Hints At Loki's Role in Avengers 2

Will Thor be forced to keep his promise to kill Loki if he betrays him in Thor: The Dark World?I may be giving away spoilers ahead, so if you don't want to know about the possible outcome of Thor: The Dark World, check out one of our other video. lets recap for just a second...We've seen that moment in the trailer for Thor: The Dark World, where Thor approaches Loki inside of a crystal prison, and asks him for his help in order to stand up against supervillain, Malekith. Thor tells Loki, that if he betrays him, he will kill him. Joss Whedon is now dropping hints that we may NOT see Loki in The Avengers 2, leading some to speculate that Thor will in fact kill Loki in The Dark World. During a podcast with Empire, Whedon spoke on all sorts of things Marvel related. On the topic of the progress of SHIELD, Whedon made it sound like things are moving right along with shooting expected to start in July. He also talked a little about the Avengers sequel, saying that he has already submitted a first draft of the script, and that everyone is all on the same page with his vision for the story.But, the follow up Avenger question is where it could be a bit spoilery. Empire asked if Whedon would be bringing back any other English words for Loki to use to insult people with in part 2, referring to the moment where Loki called Black widow a "quim", Whedon came back with a very hesitant and interesting answer. He said quote "First of all, imitating what I did before is the surest way to do it not as well. Second of all, Loki is not there to say those terrible things." So, if Loki wont be quote "there," what's going to happen to him? And where will he be?
