Strapped the Mobius camera to my Gearbest H12C Quad-copter as requested by many viewers. Surprised at the results.

The H12C definitely has a hard time lifting the Mobius but the video results are vastly superior to the stock camera the quad comes equipped with.
Full 1080 30FPS footage looks great and can easily be edited further in post. Even on full auto the Mobius does a great job in most lighting conditions but it does routinely add too much blue. I would recommend manually tuning your settings for best results.
I wouldn't recommend this setup but if you have the camera or quad already it is indeed a viable platform for some quick aerial shots. I suspect the flight times could be significantly longer as my battery is definitely on the weak side.
Not exactly the type of drone setup you would see at CES but good fun anyhow.
You can find the Quad from GearBest here:
And parts here:
End result- the quad can definitely lift and carry the weight- just not overly well :)
