You know what needs to come back? Jazzercise. Maybe it was all the cocaine, maybe it was just the Coca-Cola, but either way, you can’t deny that the people of the 80s sure seemed to be high on life. They were so energetic that they needed to film themselves exercising constantly just to blow off enough steam. Most of The Bearded Man’s tunes would go great with a unitard 80s dance routine (just find one on YouTube, turn off the sound and see what we mean), it’s just a shame that we don’t live in that world any more. Yes, that happy-go-lucky world may be gone, but when you drive down Montrose Ave., the brain can’t help but wander and wonder what might have been if we still lived in the era of TAB, the era of the Walkman, the era of ridiculous looking volleyball players and the financial culture that made The Wolf of Wall Street possible… Sigh… Someday...
