Find one here: (affiliate link) - HP introduced a new printing technology a few years ago called PageWide. They print with ink but are as fast as laser printers. Now the printers are being sold at the same price or less as laser. See more printers: and subscribe!

Pagewide is an ink jet technology but rather than having a head go back and forth over the page the printer sprays the ink directly on the full width of the page as it flows through the printer. The result is much faster print times that are comparable to what can be expected from a laser printer.
There also might be cost advantages as well - especially for offices that print a large volume of documents. I found the replacement cost for the four cartridges to be about $940 for roughly 15,000 or so pages. That's much less expensive than the $2400 I'd have to spend to get the same amount of equivalent toner I would use in my LaserJet color printer to achieve the same page count. Large offices may see some energy savings if multiple printers are in use.
Those printing infrequently will still want to stick with laser. I also found the output quality to be closer to a mid to high end ink jet printer and not as sharp as I've seen from lasers. But ink jets do print photos that are embedded in documents a little better than lasers do. But for business graphics and text laser is still hard to beat.
