Art-Tech Jetiger - SN Hobbies
Another great RTF model, and this one's a rocket ship! The Art-Tech Jetiger has a 64mm ducted fan that pushes it along pretty quick!
The model is complete with 2.4GHz radio system, lipo battery, charger, computer simulator cable and softare, tools and glue.
Flight Report
This model is very fast for its size. The gang at the field estimate it is somewhere in the 100km/h range, although we don't have anything to back it up. Stock control setup worked very well, giving solid response throughout most of the airspeed range. Controls became quite mushy at low speeds, which is normal for an EDF.
The 64mm EDF unit gives a lot of speed, but is able to provide plenty of thrust as well. Hand launches are very easy as the Jetiger accelerates quickly to flying speed, and it climbs very well.
Construction is very solid, the EPO foam is very durable. The bottom of the fuselage is reinforced with plastic as well, so belly landings and even touch-and-goes are easy on the model.
