When it comes to movies based on video games, you’re first impression is probably something like Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat or the infamous Super Mario Bros. Needless to say, video game movies have yet to reach the quality and popularity of their comic book counterparts, but that doesn’t mean they don’t keep trying and there’s plenty of worthy contenders coming up that could turn things around. One such hopeful is Assassin’s Creed starring Michael Fassbender, set to arrive in theaters on December 21st, 2016. The popular series involves time travel…sort of. In the film, Fassbender plays a bartender captured by a nefarious corporation who forces him to relive the memories of his assassin ancestors in order to get their hands on powerful artifacts. It’s an intriguing premise that worked well as a game and today we’re going to share our list of 7 things we think need to happen in order to make it a successful movie.
