In this TEDx talk, Charles-Edouard reflects on his failures and successes while tackling homelessness at a grassroots level.
An Ecole Polytechnique and Stanford graduate, Charles-Edouard Vincent left IT to create Emmaus Defi, a social business concept which tackles homelessness through incremental work contracts. His ‘Convergences’ project aims to provide 3,000 social reinsertion jobs and was awarded the 2014 Social Entrepreneur of the Year prize by Boston Consulting Group and the Schwab Foundation.
