« "Things are changing all around me" is the sentence Garrett Lockhart aka Patchwork chose to explain the name of his EP issued on September 1st, Changes. Indeed, if we look at the titles, he only chose ephemeral moments like the night, the smoking of a cigaret, and encounter or the sun rays.
From the first song, Slow Night, this album sounds very personal as we penetrate in the artist's imaginary. In all the tracks, the low bass undermining the synth ambiance gives peacefulness while the voice samples (people talking in a public space, whispers, a man's story) bring a certain sense of nostalgia. The different rhythm succed one another, sweet and chill yet deep, powerful, each track in its own way.»
