Lisa Gade reviews Apple’s high end iPad models for 2017: the iPad Pro 10.5” and the second generation iPad Pro 12.9". Both feature 600 nit Retina 264 PPI displays with P3 color gamut, True Tone color compensation and ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate displays. They both use the extremely fast Apple A10X CPU, have 4GB RAM and your choice of 64, 256 or 512GB storage. The 10.5” model’s slim bezels mean it almost as compact as the iPad Pro 9.7 it replaces. As ever, the Apple Pencil and keyboard are sold separately. There are WiFi-only and WiFi+ LTE 4G models available. The 10.5” starts at $649 and the 12.9” starts at $799.
