The Dark Souls series has its fans, but there are at least the same amount of people who are terrified to even try this notoriously punishing game with its screen-sized monstrosities.
We grabbed some brand new Dark Souls 3 gameplay from the early part of the game and we're here to tell you that you shouldn't be afraid. Well, you shouldn't be too afraid to give it a try, at least.
From the Dark Souls series' legendary difficulty comes some of the most rewarding moments in gaming. When you narrowly beat a boss with a micron of your health bar remaining, the wave of relief is palpable.
The game is stunning in its scale and artistic direction too; huge imposing castles, snow-capped mountain ranges, vast forests and bruised skies are the order of the day.
