R/C Pattern Flying - Planes and Pilots
Sorry for the audio or lack thereof. I had used a number of music titles that ended up with copyright claims so I had to remove the music.
As with the other "Pattern in the City" video, this is really only intended for those that attended the pattern contest hosted by Spectrum Flyers on May 19-20, 2012. The rest of you will have to watch the video at your own risk. It will probably feel like you're watching somebody else's home movies and we all know what that feels like! If you happen to watch it, please feel free to chime in with your comments and of course "Likes". Thank you.
In any event, we were witness to some great flying and it's always nice to see a gathering of beautiful Pattern Ships and their friendly owner/pilots. The weather on Saturday was perfect, Sunday...not so much. The rain rolled in just before noon and quenched the sunburns we got on Saturday.
You may notice that, despite my better judgement, I attempted to take video of one of Chad's flights (who won the FAI class). It's a real challenge (for me) to stay steady with a zoomed out camera trying to film these Pattern Ships that fly so close to the moon.
Congratulations to Dave and Scott and our club's volunteers for organizing and running a smooth event.
