FPV Quadcopter Blackpool Sands, Devon UK

My first experience of flying FPV at a beach. After my last run in with water (fresh river water) I was a bit cautious about going over the sea as I know if the quad got dunked in salt water that nothing apart from the GoPro would be re-useable...but I just couldn't resist a few close proximity flights above the waves ;)
On this day CamSump and I joined by other FPV'ers at the beach, they both fly planes but one had a TBS Discovery with gimbal to attempt a chase cam shot of my quad around the area. Needless to say it did not go to plan. The pilot failed to see and avoid the large branch in front of him after he was warned it was there by myself and spotter.
Only minor damage was caused to the TBS Discovery during the crash and was flying around this location the very next day after repairs done by Totem Hobbies, Plymouth.
Pomeroy Castle seemed a great place to go and fly but due to too many people in and around the castle we deemed it not safe to have a fly inside so I was confined to the front lawn which was a shame.
