We've already seen how Quantum Break's time-bending shooting works, but Remedy has just released the full demo we saw at the Gamescom expo back in August, which includes footage of what Remedy calls the game's ‘adventuring’ gameplay.
In these sections, Quantum Break turns into a sort of time-amplified platform game, where the environment goes through a series of destructive time loops and you'll need to time your movements exactly, so that you move only when its safe.
While the underlying platforming is no different to an Assassin's Creed or a Tomb Raider, these sections are visually novel and spectacular, as you freeze crashing cars to create platforms and avoid what is essentially a Thwomp from Mario in the form of a crashing truck.
