* Read for more tips. Still trying to "un-see" my quadcopters with FPV, I am trying a few inexpensive ones first, since I crash a lot while practicing! (Gearbest LiDi Hexacopters ) A more expensive machine would not help, as many think would. The principal is the same.
60 years of seeing and automatically reacting on the sticks is stuck with me, so FPV is difficult when they back up or stop. LOL
A quad with GPS is pretty easy and flyable by anyone, but GPS won't work inside! So since I fly a lot inside, I needed to actually know how to fly it under my complete control, not a satellite. I am learning the basics the hard way, but also cheaply. And now I'm trying a 6 motor Hexacopter with full FPV for under $100. Note this machine has some trouble making headway in over 10 mph winds with the big props, so it's best to fly in the high speed setting and when fairly light breezes apply. It would be good to get extra batteries and a 4 Gb SD card too, as it's not included.
Flight time before it begins dropping out of the sky on its own is only about 5 minutes. After that it begins losing range and shuts off, then on, then off.
Thanks for watching, be safe, and happy flying!
