FPV 250 Flying: Skew vs Helical antennas
Having seen a bunch of guys using those little ImmersionRC patch antennas, or helicals for 250 racing, I decided to go and investigate what it would give me.
The recorded picture in the DVR doesn't seem to show static in quite the way you get on the goggles, so it actually looks pretty close in terms of what's better. The helical did feel a lot better though - Whilst I wouldn't suggest you instantly throw away your skews and go helical, I would suggest trying it out if you are flyiung in similar conditions to me.
I created a Facebook page as sometimes I miss discussions that start off as comments on videos, YouTube is pretty relentless about what it decides as spam as well ! So try the Facebook option if you wanted to connect, and see what I was up to inbetween flights
