Eachine Falcon 250 from Banggood.com - Durability Test (Crash!)

Rushing (never a word that bodes well in flying) to get a first flight in before imminent rain, I neglected to start off with some gentle manoeuvres to ascertain the performance of the Eachine Falcon 250 . This FPV racing quadcopter has its motors inclined by 10 degrees to improve faster flying characteristics. The inclination means that the camera doesn't need to be tilted upwards nearly as much as a quad without inclined motors. I didn't take that into account and the results are clear.
You can see that I started to pull out of the dive very close to the ground but the visual cues were very different and I was looking up far more than I was used to. The result was a pretty big impact although thankfully the ground was very soft due to very heavy rain for weeks before.
Incredibly, there was absolutely no damage other than a few scratches on the propellers. This really is a tough little racer!
