Pro snowboarder Hannah Teter is Special Olympics' first action sports Global Ambassador! The announcement was made in Aspen, Colorado during the X Games. To celebrate, Hannah organized a unified snowboarding event pairing professional snowboarders with Special Olympics athletes racing down a dual giant slalom course with the goal of getting the best combined time. On course were Jamie Anderson, Scotty James, Arielle Gold, and Abe Teter, paired with top Special Olympic snowboarders from across the country.
